Why is the Creation Trio in Carah?
Well, the answer to that is more complicated than you may imagine. You see, Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina are all the masters of their own dimensions, and those dimensions span every universe. We can confirm the existence of parallel universes because of wormholes and Ultra Beasts, phenomenon that exist in our universe. Although there are no Ultra Beasts or the sort in Carah, their very existence confirms that the Time, Space, and Distortion Dimensions span various universes, including the wormhole ones. Therefore, the creation trio present in Carah isn’t exactly another trio, but rather a projection or mirror image of the true time dimension of our universe.
The easiest way to imagine this is by imagining a bookcase with various bookshelves. The case represents any given dimension, and the shelves are the various universes in the dimension. Our universe is one shelf and has its own creation trio, and the shelf below ours has its own trio. The trio from the shelf below ours has shifted up into ours, but overlaps with other books of the same title in the shelf, and is thus like a ‘copy’ of the existing trio - so it’s not technically “real” - but it still is its own thing.

A Deeper Look at Kahment Island!
In celebration of 100 Pokemon completed in the Carah Pokedex, Prof. Zahra wanted to share some classified information about Kahment Island, the elusive island in the southeastern coast of the Carah Region. Let's take a deeper look at Kahment Island!

Kahment Island is home to the Origin Energy Basin, a large oasis-like structure that was discovered by explorers early on. The basin is believed to be the source of much of the region's Origin Energy flow, and is also believed to be the source of the first wild Genesis Forms.

The island is also home to the Pyramids of Order, the largest structures in the entire region! They house the oldest shrines and tombs to Razolteun and Amulteun, as well as to a mystery legendary. These pyramids are also supposedly hiding a massive sculpture within them, but no one has been able to find the structure.

District E is the only district with wild starter Pokemon. The starters found here are Cafern, Poiferno, Ocelpup, Turtwig, Chimchar, and Piplup.

This island is the only place in the entire visible region with wild Genesis Forms. The desert dunes contain wild Genesis Aggron, Venophlame, Demitox. The forests have wild Genesis Arsinoceros, Mantouris, and Psycharinga. The oceans and lakes are home to wild Genesis Khelshark, Dramarine, and Araquanid.

The island is the easiest place to find the Carah Regions two pseudo-legendary Pokemon: Sinama and Scorpet.

The Pernicious Team Pyramva!
Team Pyramva is a malevolent group of thugs that harm and steal Pokemon. What's worse is that they've been reported to inject Pokemon with an unknown liquid, and are apparently "studying the mutations" in certain Pokemon. We're unsure of what this means, but it's important to be on the lookout. We don't know who is leading them, and we have to find out before its too late.

The VD-21 Purification Capsule!
DELMAC has unveiled the VD-21 Purification Capsule with the understanding that as of today, half of the Virus Forms have been discovered. This capsule contains an antidote made from pure Origin energy in the sphere at the bottom. Upon pressing the button near the top, the arrowhead will draw the corrupted Origin Energy out of the Pokemon, purify the energy, and expel it towards the Virus Form, which will quickly return to its normal state. This capsule is currently available in Kaerogh (DF-6) and Azudon (DF-7). We hope our trainers stay safe and are able to track the Virus Forms to purify them.

Located in the central city of Kaerogh, DELMAC - The Delta-Gamma Company - is a massive corporation that promotes and manufactures products for the Carah Region, as well as extensively researched Pokemon Biology and behavior. DELMAC has funded numerous projects that aim to expand our understanding of the Carah Region. Notable discoveries from their research team include Pokemon Traits, Genesis Forms, and more classified information! Professor Zahra is closely linked with DELMAC, and is extensively working to provide the region with any and all new information.

VD-21 OE Surplus - The Virus Episode
We regret to inform our viewers that the Carah Region has been infected with a virus known as VD-21 OE Surplus. This "virus" is actually just a corrupted mutation of the region's own Origin Energy. It is believed that when certain Pokemon enter the region, the Origin Energy enters their bodies and alters their biology in a negative way, causing them to have their immune response muted and developing this virus in the Pokemon. This is not an infectious virus to Pokemon not affected by it, but it rather seems parasitic in nature to those who are. One Pokemon that has become infected is the legendary Deoxys, who now hides in the region. DELMAC is working on a purification device, known as the VD-21 Purification Capsule, which works to purify the Origin Energy within the nervous system of the infected Pokemon. They've also identified the Virus trait, a new trait that applies to all VD-21 Pokemon.

Origin Energy - A New Kind of Unknown Energy!
A new kind of energy has been discovered in Carah! Professor Zahra, the professor of the Carah Region, and DELMAC, The Delta-Gamma Association Coalition, have worked together to create a more thorough explanation of the details and intricacies behind this strange energy, but more research will need to be done. It has been confirmed that this energy has something to do with ancient Carahnian empires, and their worship of ancient Pokemon. The theory that this energy is a derivative of fossil Pokemon has been disproven, however, as evidenced by the Galar region's fossils.
The most promising theory, proposed by the professor's acquaintance, has suggested that this energy is the residual life energy for the Pokemon of the Carah region. This seems to suggest that some of the Pokemon of the Carah region are, in and of themselves, products of centuries of Darwinian evolution...and that the Pokemon did indeed have a form unknown to man that was, in effect, able to harness this Origin energy and unlock a deific force that could have controlled the world as we know it. DELMAC has found traces of Origin energy around the region, and is working to harness it, but have been consistently unsuccessful. One man has suggested a reason for this, but we were unable to contact him, or any of his acquaintances for that matter.

Welcome to the Carah Region!
Welcome to the Carah Region! This map was made as a rough sketch to get the idea of the layout of the region across. Below is some basic information.
The Carah region is divided into 6 districts - District A, B, C, D, E, and F. Each district has a unique culture and social system, as well as, obviously, their own unique Pokemon! Each district is also its own Wild Area, apart from the cities.
There are 17 major cities, each labeled with their own number. 8 of these 17 cities are RPCs, or Royal Pyramid Challenge cities, where you will travel to defeat the gym leaders. Those cities are the ones in purple: [4, 5, 7, 9, 11, 12, 14, 15]
The cities in red are normal cities, which some major cities of note, such as [6, 7, 9].
The yellow lines between cities are routes, and are in-exhaustive. The white circles surrounding areas on routes and in various other locations are story points, where there is either a major battle or story event.
The cities in blue are ports next to the surrounding ocean.
The large [I, II, III] represent the 3 major lakes, with [II] being the biggest, Aegyptica Lake.
The pink circles represent critical locations, which are essentially major areas for either story development or regional functionality. Most of these locations are important landmarks that contain very rare and unique Pokemon.
