Update 041: More New Dominion Pokemon!

Writer's picture: Team CarahTeam Carah

Hey trainers! We're back with some more new DoS discoveries! Today, we're bringing you some odd Pokemon that we didn't quite expect to find here, but we're glad we did! These three Pokemon are a Dominion Form for Goreslash, a regional Unown, and a new DoS species!

Dominion Goreslash - Flying/Dragon

Dominion Goreslash are even more aggressive and territorial than their ground level counterparts, but are also significantly more loyal. Having lost their original typing in favor of the Dragon/Flying type helps it more adequately travel through the DoS with much more ease. This Pokemon was once said to be the partner to the spirit of the first king to ever enter the Perdition Dimension. It travels alongside spirits and guides them towards either the Fortune or Sin routes, aggressively defending either so that the spirit may be properly assessed by the Dominion Consulate. This Pokemon is often used as a guardian to the gates of the DoS as well, making its imagery prevalent in ancient texts.

Carahnian Unown - Astral

Carahnian Unown is one of the rarest Pokemon to ever exist, even rarer than the legendaries Razolteun and Amulteun themselves. This Pokemon takes on the form of a symbol in Carah well known for its mythological symbolism - the rising empire of Carah and the Genesis Aureole. This symbol is present in a variety of Pokemon, including every Genesis Form and every legendary. In fact, the aureoles above every legendary are some disambiguation of this symbol. It is unclear why this Pokemon took on this specific form, but many scientists have theorized that it has something to do with this Pokemon's astral origins.

Lythrasear - Grass/Fire

Lythrasear bears an uncanny resemblance to Pokemon from distant regions, particularly because of its elongated and elegant stance. Many scientists have even said that it could be from a distant region that made its home in the Dominion of Spirits. Researchers question how this Pokemon can support fire on its leaves and skin, but the accepted consensus is that fire is harmless to its skin as it's made of a harder, heatproof organic material. The leaves on its body resemble those of local delicacies, suggesting that this form of Lythrasear is not its true form. The fruits hanging from its tail, legs, and neck are apparently very tasty.

That's all we got today trainers! We hope you're enjoying the Dominion of Spirits so far! We have some exciting new Pokemon to discover next, so please stay tuned!
