This update brings our trainers FOUR new Genesis Forms - The Genesis Sinnohnan starters and Genesis Tauros!
Genesis Torterra
Genesis Torterra is the Genesis Form for Torterra and is a Dark/Ground type. Origin Energy has transformed Torterra into Genesis Torterra. This form of Torterra is believed to be one of the few Pokemon that could supply nearly endless supplies and energy to both people and Pokemon. The tree on its back is among the largest ever recorded, over 75 feet! Its tree is unfortunately no longer able to supply as much energy and food for the public as the net amount of Origin Energy in the atmosphere has reduced significantly from the ancient estimated levels. What this means is that this form of Torterra used to actually absorb Origin Energy and create energy from those particles, but since the supply of Origin Energy has dramatically plummeted, this Pokemon has become rogue and lacks supplies, hence its Dark typing.
Genesis Infernape
Genesis Infernape is the Genesis Form for Infernape and is a Fairy/Fighting type. Origin Energy has transformed Infernape into Genesis Infernape. This Pokemon has become more clairvoyant yet retains its aggressive nature internally. The fire on its head burns even brighter, but releases a sparkly fairy dust that is said to be therapeutic and even medicinal. The fur on its body has become more prominent, and the fire that burns on its wrists can incinerate even the most heat resistant objects. This Pokemon used to be able to burn its flames extensively, but the reduction in ancient levels of Origin Energy are the reason this Pokemon has become a Fairy type.
Genesis Empoleon
Genesis Empoleon is the Genesis Form for Empoleon and is an ice/Steel type. Origin Energy has transformed Empoleon into Genesis Empoleon. This Pokemon has lost the ability to retain water in its body for attack purposes for long periods of time, which means that it had to find an alternative way to store water. It stores water now by freezing whatever it touches. It can freeze even the hottest of objects, and can make certain gases undergo reduction to turn them into ice. Ancient levels of Origin Energy are the reason this Pokemon has lost its ability to store water, but it's believed that it used to help people and Pokemon of old in traveling across oceans.
Genesis Tauros
Genesis Tauros is the Genesis Form for Tauros and is a Normal type. Origin Energy has transformed Tauros into Genesis Tauros. This Pokemon is an emblem of the ancient Carahnian Amulteun. Much like how Volcarona is supposedly a messenger for Razolteun, Tauros is a messenger for Amulteun. It's incredibly aggressive nature makes it almost impossible to train, hence why despite its prominence, no trainers are known to use this Pokemon. The jewelry, ornamentation, and design of this Pokemon are believed to be the origin of many ancient Carahnian depictions of gods.
