Today is a big day for the folks in the Carah Region and around the world, as DELMAC, Professor Zahra, and King Talkahmen have come to a mutual conclusion that we have come to discover roughly half of the Pokédex of the Carah Region! From the first discovery of Cafern to the latest in Khuvorbit, Spharamynx, Gizamel and Virus Eelektross, Professor Zahra had some inspiring words for our viewers about this milestone. But first, let's take a look at the Pokemon that rounded off this half!
New Pokemon Discoveries
Khuvorbit

Khuvorbit is a newly discovered Psychic/Astral type Pokemon and is the evolved form of Pyramalien. Khuvorbit have been confirmed to be Pokemon from the stars, and have developed Psychic powers over time. It is believed that the largest pyramid of the Pyramids of Order on Kahment Island point directly upwards towards the center of the universe, and that Khuvorbit is responsible for this orientation. Khuvorbit is also one of the few Pokemon in the region besides your starter companions to possess the Divinity Trait.
Spharamynx

Spharamynx is a newly discovered Ground/Fairy type and is the evolved form of Qualabast. Many young trainers are surprised to see a Pokemon as small as Qualabast evolve into Spharamynx, and are more inclined to use it on their teams. Spharamynx were considered to be some of the most intelligent Pokemon in ancient times, and often offered rewards and jewels that it created from the sand to lucky passersby who were able to answer its questions. Some scholars believe that Qualabast go to statues of old Spharamynx that hold secrets of the ancient past.
Gizamel

Gizamel is a newly discovered Ground-type Pokemon, and does not evolve. Gizamel are frequently used as travel mules in the hot Tenarish (DB-4) or Pharogon (DA-17) Deserts. These Pokemon are built for the deserts. and have a resistance to the rough sandstorms of the region. A few people have noted the appearance of a Feldsoul on the back of many Gizamel, which is theorized to be due to a symbiotic relationship the two Pokemon have.
VD-21 EPISODE
Virus Eelektross

After an excruciatingly long period of time, researchers at DELMAC have discovered a new Virus Form - Virus Eelektross! This form of Eelektross is an Electric/Poison type, and is surprisingly successful in the water. Scientists first discovered it lurking near the bottom of Lake Mandari, waiting on a lone Shadenna to cross its path so that it could paralyze the Pokemon and disgorge the Pokemon's vitality. It uses its gaping mouth and 4 sharp teeth to do so. Virus Eelektross has a unique ability called Power Trap - If this Pokemon gets hit with an Electric, Ground, or Psychic type attack and survives, it will regain its lost HP by taking 25% of the opponents HP, and lowering its highest stat by 1 stage.
DELMAC also believes that Virus Eelektross marks half of all Virus Forms in the Carah Region. No certainties can be solidified, but this is just what the theory is. As a result, DELMAC has unveiled its solution to purify the Pokemon - the VD-21 Purification Capsule!
To learn more about these new Pokemon, head to the New Pokemon section.
VD-21 Purification Capsule

The VD-21 Purification Capsule is a new development of DELMAC designed specifically to purify Virus Forms, finally being revealed after months of development and perfection. The sphere at the bottom contains purified Origin Energy that will be used to extract the corrupted Origin Energy from the Virus Form. DELMAC is still unsure of how this Origin Energy surplus became so corrupted, or even where the surplus came from. Some radical scientists theorize that it may be due to the awakening of something big.

Interview with Professor Zahra
Professor Zahra had been so occupied with the work of the Pokédex and understanding the legends of the region that it comes as no surprise that we couldn't snag an interview with her. However, upon such a great milestone, the professor was finally able to sit down with us and answer some of our burning questions. Let's take a look at some of the highlights.
So first, what does it mean to you to finally have completed half the Pokédex?
Zahra: I'm thrilled! Our team has worked really hard to get to this point, and we're surprised that we even got here this quickly. Since we've discovered 68 Pokemon, as of this interview, that means that there are roughly 136 total Pokemon - Virus Forms, Genesis Forms, Regional Variants, and Legendaries included. Speaking of Virus Forms, we've also reached that halfway point as well. We predict with reasonable confidence that there are 6 total Virus Forms, 3 of which have now been discovered with the discovery of Virus Eelektross.
Speaking of Virus Forms, DELMAC released their new VD-21 Purification Capsule today. What do you make of this new technology, and how do you view the Virus Form's travel of the region?
Zahra: The VD-21 Purification Capsule is a crucial step in purifying the Virus Forms of the region, especially Virus Deoxys, and I laud DELMAC for their swift judgement and delegation. In terms of their presence in the region, it really perplexes me as to how this surplus of Origin Energy came about. We've ran tests on Pokemon that have a high index of Origin Energy runoff, like Khuvorbit, Dramarine, and Galicolith, but their indices are too low to suggest that they are creating the surplus. A few of my team members, albeit some very curious ones, are suggesting that it may have something to do with the Battle of Order that occurred thousands of years ago. As interesting and exhilarating as that sounds, I can't grant that theory any merit because we don't have sufficient evidence to back up those kinds of claims.
Lots of patterns have popped up in recent weeks, especially from many temples and ancient texts that reveal much of the past of this ancient region. Is there anything that these texts suggest regarding the history of our region?
Zahra: Yes! These texts all have a few things in common, but we don't know what that commonality entails. The commonality is that all of them refer to a grim past, enlightened by the stars. Tombs of ancient pharaohs in the Pyramids of Order that have been uncovered seem to suggest ancient legends that battled frequently, and of gatherings around the gods. We don't know which gods are which, we just know that Razolteun and Amulteun are the primary Gods on the King of Gods' panel. We don't know what that is, but it's a text that's written frequently in tombs and paintings. We're trying to figure that out, and we'll let everyone know when we do!
That's all the time that we had to interview the professor. She gave us valuable insight into the regional Pokédex, as well as on Virus Forms, and the legendaries! She said she's optimistic that she can do more interviews to answer your burning questions! If our viewers have any questions, feel free to ask them here!
LEGENDARIES

We understand that our trainers are eager to learn more about the Legendary Pokemon of the Carah Region, but we unfortunately don't have enough information to present much. What Zahra and DELMAC did provide was a little glimpse into what the legendaries could be. In the New Pokemon section, we've updated the site and provided some information on what we believe the legendaries to be.
Moreover, Professor Zahra did also provide us with a unique set of information that she and her colleagues at DELMAC plan to use to help reveal more about the legendaries. Here's what she told us:
There are at least 13 Legendary Pokemon, excluding Virus Forms and Genesis Forms. Including Virus and Genesis Forms, there are at least 17 Legendary Pokemon.
Included in the 17 total Legendaries are 2 new Legendary Titans related to Regidrago and Regirock. One of them has been dubbed N.O.V.A, and the other one has been dubbed Q.U.A.K.E. Their respective patterns can be found in the Story section.
Also included in the 17 total Legendaries are Pokemon that seem to be regional remnants of the Creation Trio - Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina. Their typings are unknown at the moment, but they circle around the region, and they seem to be looking for something.
Out of the 4 Virus Forms and Genesis Forms, 2 of them are Virus Form Legendaries (one of which has already been revealed, Deoxys), and 2 of them are Genesis Form legendaries.
Finally, there seems to be a hidden Legendary within the 17 total Legendaries. We counted it as a legitimate Legendary, but its physiology, typing, and abilities, among nearly everything else, are unknown. All we know is it has a surprising connection to Razolteun, Amulteun, and their Trio Master.
COMPETITIVE POKEMON

The two mascot Legendaries arrive to the competitive scene! Take a look at the Battle Data section to read an in depth analysis of how Razolteun and Amulteun's abilities, learnsets, and traits help them excel as some of the strongest, uber-powerful Pokemon in the entire region!
Trainers, this update is the largest of update we've delivered in a while.
