News Update 017: A Regional Evolution, and a Newly Discovered Pattern!

Writer's picture: Team CarahTeam Carah

Carahnian Yamask has evolved into...not Cofagrigus? And a new pattern in the ancient Sanaia Forest has been discovered!

Carahnian Yamask evolves into Pharaogrigus!

Pharaogrigus is a newly discovered Rock/Ghost regional evolution to Carahnian Yamask. Unlike Unovan Yamask's normal evolution, Cofagrigus, and Galarian Yamask's regional evolution, Runerigus, Carahnian Yamask's evolution of Pharaogrigus is a truly perplexing regional evolution. It's mouth pattern is not actually a real mouth, but it's rather a pattern made by the bandages of the deceased king whose soul is inside this Pokemon. It is believed that this Pokemon created the Pharaoh's curse as we know it.

To find out more about Pharaogrigus, please view the New Pokemon section.

A New Pattern - What Might this Mean?

A new pattern was discovered by Professor Zahra, but no one is quite sure what it means. Some say it's pure gibberish, other's say it has some significance with the time periods of the Carah region's kingdoms. A few distinguished and daring theories have revolved around something regarding ancient beasts made from the raw continents of our planet. To find out more, please head to the Region section.

Competitive Pokemon Updates!

Alongside the introduction of Pharaogrigus comes a new competitive update for the Pokemon! Explore how viable Pharaogrigus is in the competitive scene by going to the Battle Data section.
