Two new Pokemon from the Carah Region have been discovered - Snatirragon and Shanswar!
Snatirragon
Snatirragon is a newly discovered Bug/Dragon type Pokemon. Experts have noticed it reminds them of Orbeetle, a Bug/Psychic type Pokemon from the Galar Region. This Pokemon is very illusory, as it uses its decoy eyes underneath its crest to fool Pokemon to come towards it. This Pokemon has a new ability - Draconic Decoy. This ability allows Snatirragon to absorb the first attack against it upon entry to battle, and strengthens its next Dragon-type attack.
Shanswar
Shanswar is a newly discovered Ground/Fighting type Pokemon. It's a protector of tombs and ancient sites, and is often used by Pokemon archeologists like the ones at DELMAC to protect the sites and tombs from sneaky tomb raiders like Goreslash. If a Shanswar happens to become unable to battle, it will be laid to rest next to the tomb it was protecting.
New Traits - the Genesis Trait and the Virus Trait!
Genesis Trait
The Genesis Trait is a new trait that all Genesis Forms can attain. This trait allows the user to absorb the first attack used against it, and receive an omniboost every turn it is in its Genesis Form. The user's most prominent stat is also increased by 1 stage. However, this trait consumes so much Origin Energy that there is one major drawback - there is a 75% chance that the Genesis Form will lose its Genesis capabilities at 50% HP, so it will revert back to its normal form. This trait also increases the chance of finding Genesis-capable Pokemon by 50%.
Virus Trait
Pokemon with the Virus Trait have been infected with the VD-21 OE Surplus, as the only Pokemon that can have this trait are Virus Forms. This trait is not always on Virus Forms, but if it is, it’s incredibly powerful and tough to mitigate. This trait allows the user to gain STAB boosts for Poison- and Dark-type moves, and nullifies the effects of weather. This trait has a drawback, however, in that all Pokemon with this trait take 10% extra damage from poison each turn.
