Introducing perhaps the biggest update to the site in a while - new evolutions and forms, a new Gym leader, and much more!
New Pokemon
So many new Pokemon have been discovered, most with one link - Janopar! The following 4 evolutions are all new split evolutions to Janopar, the Jar Pokemon!
Let's go over the evolutions - Duamorph, Imspirit, Falclay, and Primavia!
Duamorph

Duamorph is a newly discovered Rock/Ghost type Pokemon, and evolves from Janopar at level 25 using an Astral Stone. Duamorph used to guard ancient tombs, much like Janopar. Moreover, Duamorph's heightened senses and incredible defenses have made this Pokemon a staple amongst many archeologists. Duamorph wear masks that protect the inner spirit of the Pokemon, and it is said that anyone who sees the spirit will immediately be sent to the Perdition Dimension.
Imspirit

Imspirit is a newly discovered Normal/Ghost type Pokemon, and evolves from Janopar at level 25 using a Shiny Stone. Imspirit are the most humanoid of Janopar's evolutions. In fact, they're so incredibly intelligent that they can talk in human speech via Telepathy. Many people use Imspirit in coffee houses and taverns as waitresses, and another percentage of people use them for archeological purposes. Regardless of their use in society, Imspirit have been worshipped for centuries as some of society's most useful Pokemon.
Falclay

Falclay is a newly discovered Flying/Ghost type Pokemon, and evolves from Janopar at level 25 using a Dawn Stone. Falclay is the largest of Janopar's evolutions, and is often used on rescue teams and search parties when searching for missing Pokemon. They have an unmatched sense of sight, and it is perhaps this combined with their speed that they are such effective rescue members.
Primavia

Primavia is a newly discovered Fighting/Ghost type Pokemon, and evolves from Janopar at level 25 using a Moon Stone. Primavia are widely considered "Jungle Protectors," as in ancient times, old ruins and temples hidden deep within Sanaia Forest would be guarded by Primavia. Some say they've been around even longer than humans have, given their immense populations in the densest of jungles.
New Regional Variant - Carahnian Yamask
A new regional variant has been discovered - Carahnian Yamask!

Carahnian Yamask is a newly discovered Rock/Ghost variant from the Carah Region. It is said that this Pokemon is a bad omen, hence why people tend to keep their distance. It is believed that the bandaged wrapping around its body is the wrapping for the pharaoh that it once was, and that the rock that it's stuck to contains the soul of the deceased pharaoh.
Scholars hypothesize that Carahnian Yamask was the first ever Yamask to be created, and that the Unovan and Galarian variants came after.

Gym Protector 3 - Hekka, the Bug/Poison leader!

The newest addition to the gym protector team has been announced - Hekka! Hekka specializes in Bug and Poison type Pokemon, and her Lv. 26 Scaraterra is not one to mess with. You must pick your team carefully against this powerful trainer!
Additionally, the gym leader's movesets and badges have been added to their profiles. Feel free to glance at those and build your teams with those in mind.

An update has been made to the competitive Pokemon profile - the addition of Cypyrus! Head to the Competitive Pokemon section to find out more about the competitive viability of this surprisingly strong Pokemon, and how it can use Grassy Terrain and the new Grass-type move Rejuvenation to set up for your team!
An Elusive New Item - The Genesis Origizer!

The Genesis Origizer is a particularly peculiar item because we don't actually know its true function or use. It's so spectacular that not even DELMAC or Professor Zahra know its use. All we know is that there are 7 visible Origems on the surface of the item. What its purpose is and how it will come in use during your journey remains to be seen. We know that the top 2 Origems represent Razolteun and Amulteun respectively. The other 5 are still vexing scientists even now. What might the gems represent, and how do they tie in to the history of the Carah Region?
To find out more, head to the Story section.
As is evident through the post, this update contained a lot of information, including 5 new Pokemon. It is unlikely that a large update like this again will happen in the near future, but this update more than makes up for the next few weeks. We'll see you with the next update!
