Two New Fossils Have Been Discovered in the Carah Region!

Fossils in other regions are considered a rarity, and the revival process of these fossils is considered sacred. In the Carah region, although these are true, the Origin Energy has allowed many scientists at DELMAC to harness small pockets of Origin Energy into the revival process so that the Pokemon can be revived into their initial state! This means that not all fossil Pokemon are Rock type, and they can be studied even more thoroughly. With this, we present to you two new fossil Pokemon - Spineling and Crocydily!

Spineling

A Pokemon with a razor-sharp attitude!

Spineling is a pure Steel-type Pokemon, and is revived from the Sediment Spine Fossil. The most unique feature of this Pokemon is its razor sail, which has been theorized to be used for cutting and slicing. There has also been preliminary evidence of Spineling being able to go into the water, meaning that its sail must contain some amount of Origin Energy that allows it to travel through water without ruining the mechanism. Truly a fascinating prehistoric anomaly.

Crocydily

A Pokemon with a cold attitude!

Crocydily is a pure Ice type, and is revived from the Crystal Tail Fossil. The most unique feature about this Pokemon are the incredibly sharp, icy protrusions along its snout, back and tail. Scientists theorize that this Pokemon is one of the earliest known relatives of Carahnian Sandile, and that Sandile and Crocydily have a common ancestor from many millions of years ago. Crocydily were considered incredibly friendly, but ironically, many of the more recent revivals are somewhat more snobbish and rude. However, if trainers can gain their trust, then Crocydily are incredibly adorable partners to have on a journey.

Both of these fossils are related to the Astral Stone, a stone that is rumored to give Origin Energy to many Pokemon. The stone is considered "living Origin Energy," as it's able to control its output, and can even create Genesis Forms without the G-Necklace. More information can be found in the Story section of the site.

That's all for the fossils. More are being discovered, and the evolutionary processes necessary for further investigation are currently underway. However, there is one more thing that we'd like to address.

The Virus Deoxys Episode: VD-21 Origin Energy Surplus

For the past few days, the Carah region has been experiencing an outbreak of computer and human viral cases, and we've discovered that it's likely due to a mutation of an existing legendary Pokemon - Deoxys. Scientists and virologists have dubbed this new form of Deoxys as Virus Deoxys, as it has the same impact as a widespread viral outbreak, and the actual period of transmission and warning has been dubbed VD-21.

There is very little that we know, and we're worried that more viral mutations may be on their way. What we can explain is that the viral mutations most likely emerged when Deoxys entered the Carah Region and absorbed too much Origin Energy. It's a curious behavior indeed, but there are a couple points to be made about this.

  1. Something must've attracted Deoxys so much to the point where even after it realized that its internal chemical makeup was being corrupted, it chose to continue to be corrupted for something larger.

  2. Virus Deoxys is not medically harmful to humans, but its Poison/Astral typing does make it very powerful. It looks like it's here to stay for a while, so we must be careful.

More viral corruptions will likely emerge soon. Whether or not they are of legendary Pokemon is impossible to predict, but we have a few predictions of which Pokemon may be attracted simply based on their current types. The following show the type combinations of the Pokemon that may be attracted to the VD-21 Origin Energy Surplus:

  1. Dark

  2. Electric

  3. Steel

  4. Fire/Bug

We'll be on high alert and let you know when we get a new update on a Virus Form. Until then, stay safe, and see you next time! Thank you for readingQ
