A New Regional Evolution to Carahnian Krokorok - Nilodile!
A new phenomenon has been discovered in the Carah Region - Regional Evolutions! Regional evolutions are evolutions to old Pokemon that only exist in a particular region. In this case, scientists have discovered 2 new regional evolutions, one to Carahnian Krokorok - Nilodile, and one to Carahnian Boldore - Galicolith!

Nilodile is a Water/Fighting type and is very aggressive. It's been considered as a deity that helped provide water and nutrition to the crops of the villagers. The gold plating is believed to be passed down from the first king who helped bring about Nilodile after intensive training. Krokorok evolves into Nilodile after learning Combat Surge, a physical Water-type version of Close Combat.
A New Regional Evolution to Carahnian Boldore - Galicolith!

Galicolith is an Ice/Astral type, and is frankly considered to be an alien of sorts. It's believed that the reason that North Friza is still an inhabitable city is because of Alba and others' Galicoliths that use their celestial strength to hold the city. The gems on its body have contain trace amounts of rare elements from space that have only been theorized to exist. Galicolith is also different from Gigalith in that it has a giant gem club tail that it can use to decimate its opponents.
More information on these Pokemon can be found in the New Pokemon section of the site.
Gym System - RPC (Royal Pyramid Challenge)
NOTE: The format DX-Y will be used frequently, so it's important that trainers know what that means. This is a notation that is used to reference cities, often in governmental documents or maps. D stands for District, X is the letter of the specific district, and Y is the city number, given by the Carahnian government. So for example, DB-1 references City 1 in District B.
How does the System Work?
The Gym System in the Carah Region is slightly different from other regions, as it doesn't just have regular gyms and gym leaders. Not only do they go by different names, but the mechanics themselves are quite unique. The RPC, or the Royal Pyramid Challenge, is an annual challenge hosted by the King of the Carah Region, King Talkahmen. King Talkahmen has been the descendant of hundreds of generations of Kings and Queens that ruled over Carah in ancient times. Many people say that King Talkhamen's lineage was blessed by a legendary celestial dragon pharaoh, but that hasn't been proven yet. The challenge consists of 8 cities, known as RPC Cities, where you, the trainer, must challenge the leader of each Pyramid Gym, referred to as a Tomb Protector (or Protector, for short). Each protector guards a Sacred Jewel (known as badges in other regions, although the term badge is frequently used in Carah as well), and only by defeating the protector can you unlock his/her sacred Jewel. Once you've collected all 8 jewels, you will head to Kaerogh to compete in the Pyramid League, and if you're strong enough, the Champion - Orikmet.
How are Gyms Different in Carah?
Gyms have a unique aspect in the Carah region, as in most other regions, gyms are mainly single-type based. In Carah, however, all gyms, elite 4 members, and champions are dual-typed. Each gym consists of two types that you must prepare for. Some may be easy, others may be difficult. King Talkahmen wishes that the trainers of his region set off on their journeys with the mindset of balance, order, and harmony with their Pokemon. The region has had a long philosophical mandate of analytics and intuition, so the dual type system was invented to incentivize trainers to think strategically about the Pokemon they wish to use.
Protectors will use Pokemon of both types in the gym, and as a trainer, you must be prepared to handle both. For example, in the first gym in Tenarish (DB-4), the protector, Bahari, is a Normal/Ground type user. Pokemon he may use are Kiddoe, Coprisand, and Mudbray. More information on all of the cities and specific protectors will be revealed later. For now, however, here are the types of all of the Protectors!
Bahari - Normal/Ground (DB-4)
Ayla - Grass/Psychic (DB-5)
Hekka - Bug/Poison (DF-7)
Basim - Fire/Fighting (DC-9)
Walun - Water/Ghost (DF-11)
Vayrok - Rock/Flying (DA-12)
Alba - Ice/Dragon (DD-14)
Jivan - Fairy/Dark (DE-15)
Champion: Orikmet - Astral/Dragon
Be sure to take these types into consideration when planning your team!
