This Pokemon finds the tombs and sarcophagi of the dead and carries the part that contains the soul of the person around with it. Many people who see this Pokemon consider it a bad omen, and often shoo it away. There are stories and rumors of ancient Carahnian Yamask being the souls of deceased pharaohs and kings, but people still choose to keep their distance from it.
