Cypyrus

Cypyrus were considered scribes in ancient times. They use their forearm fringes to write multiple letters at once, and are even ambidextrous. They were often used to help kings write letters to other kings, or create important federal documents. If the fringes on a Cypyrus's arm grow too long, it will chop them off, as it doesn't hurt. Once they've chopped the fringes off, they'll give it to other people to use as writing paper. The fringe paper is surprisingly durable, and many existing documents from thousands of years ago are still intact and usable.
