Origin Energy has transformed Araquanid into Genesis Araquanid. Genesis Araquanid is the first non-Carahnian Pokemon to be discovered that has a Genesis Form, which perpetuates the idea that ancient Pokemon from other regions not only lived and thrived in the Carah Region, but had a spiritual presence in the mythology of the people. Old cave drawings from nearly 3,000 years ago show Genesis Araquanid helping people weave a variety of large garments and coverings for buildings, and even providing shelter for many Water and Bug-type Pokemon in the harshest of rain. It is known as the "Weaver of Seas," and was often seen as a mode of travel for many.
