This Pokemon is the epitome of climate change, as it is evidence that the melting ice caps are raising sea levels, and in many ways, warming the planet extensively. Upon Genesizing, Avalugg sees a dramatic shift in its biology, as its body starts to break off and shatter. The spectral energy added to its body as a result of the additional Ghost typing not shows the icy soul of this Pokemon slowly leaving, but provides it with extra energy to handle strong attacks. This Pokemon was worshipped for its resilience, and is at the forefront of pro-climate policy.
